Topic: DO YOU CALL THIS SORROW?
Romans 8:18 (KJV)
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Are you suffering any form of pain, sickness, hardship, or disadvantage, that seems to fill your heart with sorrow? Consider our theme Scripture today and be encouraged.
The worst form of sorrow that any humankind could ever be plagued with is to be eternally separated from God; to spend eternity in the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
But as children of God, we’re aware that we’ve been translated from the kingdom of darkness into God’s marvelous light. We’re not going to be; WE DWELL in God’s marvelous light as a present tense reality. This means we’re no longer under the dominion of Satan and darkness, and therefore we have no part in the worst form of sorrow where Satan and his angels are destined to go.
You’ve got to remember and always consider that no matter the sufferings of this life, it’s no where near what we would have suffered if not for Jesus. More so, the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us. Out of that seeming shame will come forth the glory of God!
This is why regardless of your present situation and the sorrow it has brought, I ask you today, Do You Call This Sorrow?
