Topic: ENGAGE THE HELPER

THEME SCRIPTURE:
Romans 8:26-27 (NKJV)
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

MESSAGE:
In Luke 18:1, a parable our Lord Jesus gave was to show that men ought always to pray and to not faint. Thus, we OUGHT TO PRAY ALWAYS, but our theme Scripture reveals to us, that, “We do not know what we should pray for AS WE OUGHT.” How helpless we would have been if not for the Helper!

The Holy Spirit is given to the Church as our Helper, and it is the responsibility of every believer not only to receive Him, but to also engage His help always if we ought to pray always. We engage the help of the Helper by speaking in other tongues.

Whenever we speak in other tongues, the Holy Spirit helps us to overcome the weakness of our inability to pray according to the Will of God.

You may not understand what you’re saying, but since God who is to answer your prayer understands what you’re saying in other tongues, that’s okay. All you want is to live in the perfect Will of God, and if in the wisdom of God, He has given us an avenue by which we can align our lives with His perfect Will, what prevents us from utilizing this grace?

This is where faith comes in; taking God by His Word and acting on it! If God says this is the way to access His perfect Will for your life, by engaging the help of the Helper through speaking in other tongues, go ahead and utilize this grace.

The result is what counts! Those who mock you when you pray in other tongues will start celebrating you when they see the outcome of your persistence in prayer.
