Topic: HAVE YOU CHARGED YOUR BATTERY TODAY?
Jude 1:20 (KJV)
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.
Praying in the Holy Ghost simply means praying in other tongues. The subject of speaking in other tongues cannot be overemphasized. The Greek word translated “building up” in our theme Scripture also means, “To charge like a battery.”
We’re expected to charge ourselves like we do our phone batteries. Can you imagine your phone battery going dead when you’d need to communicate an important information through phone? We often do everything possible to keep our phone batteries full when we’re embarking on important ventures, even to the extent of carrying along power banks or extra batteries.
But do we do the same with our lives? If you wouldn’t leave your home for business or other important ventures without ensuring your phone battery is fully charged, how do you take lightly the importance of charging yourself in the Holy Ghost?
How do you live a whole day, week, month or sometimes even a whole year without ever charging yourself like you’d do your battery? That’s why I ask, have you charged your battery today? If you have, then do the same with your spiritual life which is more important, by praying in the Holy Ghost.
