When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;

If you are reading or studying this devotional today, then you are audacious, by the grace of God – Congratulations! You refused to give up or die. Through the difficulties, challenges, obstacles, barriers, the negatives and positives, the good, the bad, and the ugly, you made it into 2019. Just like Job, the Lord has preserved you by His anointing. Job was anointed. The rock (Jesus Christ) poured him out rivers of oil (anointing). This anointing preserved him during his crisis.

Your anointing is audacious. Something is said to be audacious when it is willing to take unreasonable risk, it is brazen-faced, and lacks respect for things that are against its actions. The anointing is audacious, abrasive, adventurous, aggressive, assertive and authoritative. Job’s audacious anointing preserved him. Satan took everything from him but he refused to die.

The audacious anointing in you preserved you – you refused to die. God preserved you in 2018. You overcame the things that gave you pain, shame and emptiness, and came out victorious. The anointing preserved you to fulfil a purpose in 2019. God has anointed you and will turn your captivity to enable you to fulfil the purpose of preaching the Gospel and healing the broken-hearted. You are a survivor! You survived, and you will lead others to survival.

Pray for spiritual elevation, so that you can lift others up.
