Theme : Purpose
Topic : Undiminished Gift
And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Apostle Paul admonished his prodigy, Timothy, to stir up the gift of God in him (2 Timothy 1:6). This is because, the spiritual gift in Timothy may have been dormant. Nevertheless, it was not diminished. It still carried the potency to fulfil purpose. There is a spiritual gift of God in you which the devil could not and cannot touch, regardless of what you went through in the past, “for the gifts and callings of God are without repentance”.
God turned the captivity of Job – God brought him out of pain, shame and emptiness, and restored him to his original state of prosperity. This was attained through the operation of the spiritual gift in Job. He had the power to pray for others. In spite of what he went through, his spiritual authority did not diminish. His spiritual gift opened the door for him to receive a double of all he lost.
Your spiritual gift will make room for you and bring you before great men (Proverbs 18:16). There is a purpose to be fulfilled in business, ministry, and life, and your spiritual gift will make room for you to fulfil that purpose, and in fulfilling your purpose, you will receive a reward.
1. Pray that your spiritual gift will be stirred up, and operate at its greatest.
2. Pray also that your spiritual gift will work for you, and attract to you all you’ve lost.
