BOLDLY DECLARE YOUR FAITH BY PROPHET NANASEI OPOKU SARKODIE

The Potters GuideProphet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 28
BOLDLY DECLARE YOUR FAITH
… Even God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things, which are not as though, they were.
ROMANS 4:17
God believes in making a boast of things that challenge Him to act on our behalf. You should not be ashamed to demonstrate your faith publicly. It is not enough to simply declare positive things over your life in the comfort of your room. The time has come for you to start declaring them in the open without fear or shame. If you keep asking yourself what people will think or say whenever you put your faith into action, then you are not ready to receive any miracle.
I know a great man who for twelve years had no child. Doctors diagnosed that it was going to be impossible for him and his wife to have a baby. This great man came to me and asked me to pray for his wife because he believed that his wife was going to conceive very soon. This event happened between January and February that par…

BEING A LIVING SACRIFICE By Sam Korankye Ankrah

BEING A LIVING SACRIFICE#SamKorankyeAnkrah
"And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him." Romans 12:1
Our God is a loving father, who by His mercies extends kindness and favour to us daily - doing so much for those who trust him. One way to keep attracting His attention and gaining divine approval in all things is to offer your body to him; knowing that you are the temple in which His Spirit dwells.
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which is God’s."I Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20
To give yourself to God for His Spirit to dwell in therefore means:1. To abide in God's Word and obey every direction of it.2. To ser…

TENACITY BY BISHOP DAG HEWARD MILLS

TENACITY
28th February 2019
READ: Hebrews 12:1-13
“The righteous also shall  hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.” - Job 17:9
Satan is a very persistent being. In the temptation of Jesus, he left the Lord only for a season. Any time you are dealing with a demonic attack, you must be aware of this nature of  persistence. You must counteract it with an even more persistent determination to be free.
Jesus was tempted in the wilderness to take a short cut. Satan asked him to bow down as a quick way to avoid having to suffer. Some years later, Satan came through Peter and opposed the idea of suffering on the cross (Matthew 16:21,22). Once again, Jesus had to rebuke Satan. Even later, Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, “Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?” (John 19:10).
This was another suggestion that Jesus could avoid the cross. Even while Christ was on the cross, men wagged their heads…

FULFIL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

28th February, 2019
IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: FULFIL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS
THEME SCRIPTURE:Matthew 3:13-15 (NKJV)[13] Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. [14] And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”[15] But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.
MESSAGE:Our theme Scripture is a reference to the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist in the Jordan river. We have already established that the baptism of John the Baptist was a baptism of repentance. Although it was also by immersion, it was not the same as Christian baptism in water.
John the Baptist was a transitional prophet between the Old and New Testaments. He heralded the Christ and preached a message of repentance, calling on those who heard his word to repent and be ready for the Christ. Lo, and behold, Christ Himself came to John the Baptist, askin…

Attaining One Spirit - One Impartation By Rev Eastwood Anaba

THE WORD SIROCCO Thursday, February 28, 2019

Theme: One Spirit

Topic: Attaining One Spirit - One Impartation

Scripture Reading:
2 Timothy 1:6-7; Ephesians 4:1-4

Main Text:
2 Timothy 1:6
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

The final way of attaining oneness of Spirit I wish to touch on is the issue  of the impartation of the  Spirit. A church which seeks to attain one Spirit practises the impartation of the Spirit from one person to the  other. "Impartation" is a bridge between the old and new, to allow the transference of spiritual gifts.By being baptised unto Moses, the people  of Israel did not only submit to his authority but believed in the anointing on his life. They were so confident in this anointing  that  God  took  the  spirit  that  was  on  him  and placed it on the  seventy selected elders (Numbers 11:24-25). The  apostle Paul laid his hands on Timothy and he received the  gift of G…

WATCH WHAT YOU SAY BY PROPHET NANASEI OPOKU SARKODIE

The Potters Guide Prophet Nanasei Opoku Sarkodie
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 27
WATCH WHAT YOU SAY
Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.
MATTHEW 15:11
A lot of Christians have lost many things in their lives because of the carelessness of their speech. One of the ways to find out whether or not a person has faith is to listen to the words they speak. The devil is always looking for an occasion to take advantage of your negative confessions. The reason people keep making negative statements is that they don't know that the words they speak have a great influence over their lives. No circumstance in your life should permit you to say anything negative, because you can use your mouth to disqualify yourself for a miracle.
What hindered the children of Israel from going into the Promised Land was not the devil but their own words. They said, "We are not able". They conceded that their adversaries were stronger and mighti…

Attaining One Spirit - One Word 2 By Rev Eastwood Anaba

THE WORD SIROCCOWednesday, February 27, 2019

Theme: One Spirit

Topic: Attaining One Spirit - One Word 2

Scripture Reading:
Galatians 1:8-9; Ephesians 4:1-4

Main Text:
Galatians 1:9
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other  gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him  be accursed.

The Church in the  wilderness under Moses’ leadership ate “the same spiritual meat.” The equivalent of spiritual meat in the New Testament Church is the Word of God. Confusion arises when individuals smuggle their own interpretations of the Word of God into churches. Such confused  persons challenge the  position of the church on doctrine and practices and seek to draw a following after  themselves. The apostle Paul warned  the Galatians against the  infiltration of the church by people who had different doctrines (Galatians 1:8-9). The Bible warns us against receiving those who carry strange doctrines into our homes. It warns that if we receive such people we are partakers of t…

BAPTISM IS A COMMAND BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

27th February, 2019
IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: BAPTISM IS A COMMAND
THEME SCRIPTURE: Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)[18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
MESSAGE:Can you imagine when you have all authority in heaven and on earth? That’s power! And that’s what has been given to Jesus when He conquered hell and death and rose from the dead.
It is with this authority that Jesus, the Head of the Church, commissions us to go and make disciples of all nations. As the Head, He’s made it clear that, for one to be His disciple or member of His Body, that person must be baptized. Every institution and its rules and regulations. If the Head of the Church says, the seal of dis…

CONCERNS BY BISHOP DAG HEWARD MILLS

CONCERNS
27th February 2019
READ: Mark 4:14-20
“And the cares of this world…choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.” - Mark 4:19
Jesus compared the four types of ground to four types of hearts. In one heart, thorns choked the Word. Another heart was like a stone, so that the Word could not enter.  In another heart, the Word fell by the wayside.
It was only the good heart that bore fruit. This story implies that only about a quarter of all those who hear the Word of God will eventually remain in Christ and be fruitful.
Paying your debts, your bills, and all the responsibilities that go with family life fall under the “cares” of the world. There is nothing wrong with paying your bills or looking after your family. These are legitimate challenges that everyone in this world will grapple with. However, God warns us against becoming overburdened with these responsibilities. When they begin to dominate your life, you are in danger of backsliding or falling away from Christ.
I have observed th…

REVIVE YOUR PRAYER LIFE - 2 BY PROPHET NANASEI OPOKU SARKODIE

The Potters GuideProphet Nanasei Opoku Sarkodie
MONDAY FEBRUARY 25
REVIVE YOUR PRAYER LIFE - 2
Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
MATTHEW 26:41
Even though many churches, which were built on prayer, have lost their praying power over the years, but I believe revival is possible for every cold church, if only they will stand and pray. A church without a revival is opened to all kinds of demonic attacks such as immorality, barrenness, poverty, frustration, stagnation, and retrogression. I want you to know that there is no impossibility with God and no door is difficult for Him to open. The door may seem shut now, but believe that the God who is able to do the impossible is behind the door with you, ready to open it for you, if only you can persist in prayer.
For us to persist in the kind of prayer necessary to bring a personal revival, we must become desperate for God. That is why you must not allow earthly achievements stop you fr…

REVIVE YOUR PRAYER LIFE - 3 BY PROPHET NANASEI OPOKU SARKODIE

The Potters GuideProphet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 26
REVIVE YOUR PRAYER LIFE - 3
Men always ought to pray and not to lose heart.
LUKE 18:1
No historic or modern revival took place without people realizing that they must pray. I am not talking about sanctimonious prayers. I am talking about long and concentrated prayers, which goes along with fasting. Throughout the years, I have never gone for an all-night meeting only to give a prayer topic for people to pray whiles I relax somewhere, only to come back and change the prayer topic. As a leader, I must set the example for the congregation. If you are a prayerless pastor, your members will also be prayerless.
Even if once upon a time, you used to pray and because of your busy schedules, you don’t pray again, your congregation will also be affected because the oil flows from the top; they equally need to be motivated to pray. You need to get a fresh desire to pray once again in spite of your busy schedules. I believe the time h…

THOUGHTS BY BISHOP DAG HEWARD MILLS

THOUGHTS
26th February 2019
READ: Mark 7:20-23
“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts”- Psalm 139:23
Though you may be a born-again Christian, this does not close your mind to the attacks of the devil. Your mind is still open to all kinds of thoughts from the devil.
The devil will always appeal to our minds. The Bible teaches us that we must cast down imaginations: (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Remember this truth: your mind is the battleground. Satan’s most powerful tool is “suggestion”. Jesus was tempted through the avenue of His thoughts. A thought is like a bird that flies over your head. It may land on your head, but it must not be allowed to make a nest on your head.
When ungodly thoughts come to you, resist them immediately. Do not be surprised when outrageous things occur to you. That is the fight of every born-again Christian; to keep your mind pure at all times. Some Christians are plagued with fear and worry; fear is one of the terrible thoughts of the devil.

Attaining One Spirit - One Word 1 By Rev Eastwood Anaba

THE WORD SIROCCOTuesday, February 26, 2019

Theme: One Spirit

Topic: Attaining One Spirit - One Word 1

Scripture Reading:
Galatians 1:8-9; Ephesians 4:1-4

Main Text:
Galatians 1:9
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other  gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him  be accursed.

To  attain  oneness  of  Spirit a church must  be  fed with “one  Word of God” – one  doctrine. Many strange interpretations  of  the  Word  of  God  find  their  way  into churches and lead people astray.  In these days of increased television,  radio  and  Internet  broadcasting  of  the  Word of God, it is extremely difficult to raise  a church that is not influenced by other ministries. A solid church is one in which the  pastor is sound in his  or her  knowledge  of the  Word of God and teaches the  flock with authority. The "Word state" of the pastor is very strategic in attaining one Spirit. The Lord was angry at the pastors of His flock who had led them astray, …

WE BAPTIZE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

26th February, 2019
IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: WE BAPTIZE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST
THEME SCRIPTURE:Matthew 28:19 (NKJV)Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
MESSAGE:It’s important to know the Name of the Godhead; that is, the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. The Godhead answer one Name, and that Name is Jesus!
Some people have presumed that based on Jesus’ instruction for us to baptize in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, the baptismal candidate must be dipped into the water three times. No! That’s not what Jesus meant! How many times do we bury someone who is dead? Once! And baptism is our identification with the burial of Jesus, so a baptismal candidate is dipped into the water once, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
The Name of the Godhead is Jesus! God has highly exalted Jesus, and given Him the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2…

THE METHOD AND PROCEDURE FOR BAPTISM BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

25th February, 2019
IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: THE METHOD AND PROCEDURE FOR BAPTISM
THEME SCRIPTURE:Acts 8:38-39 (NKJV)[38] So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. [39] Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
MESSAGE:We have established that the Greek word translated “baptize” in the English Bible, is “baptizo.” Baptizo also means, to dip into; to immerse; to plunge under; to submerge; to overwhelm. This means, to baptize, is for the baptizer to dip the baptismal candidate in water until he/she is completely buried under the water. Any other method IS NOT baptism, as far as Christian baptism in water is concerned.
The question is, by what procedure is the baptismal candidate dipped into the water? Does the baptizer dip the face or occiput of the baptismal candidate into the water? We can find answ…

Attaining One Spirit - One Example 2 By Rev Eastwood Anaba

THE WORD SIROCCO Monday, February 25, 2019

Theme: One Spirit

Topic: Attaining One Spirit - One Example 2

Scripture Reading:
John 13:15; Romans 6:1-4; Ephesians 4:1-4

Main Text:
1 Corinthians 11:1
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Jesus is the ultimate example but it is helpful if we have human models or examples  whose lives tell us that it is possible to live  victoriously. The  Israelites had Moses.  Every ministry must have an example. Jesus Christ empowers men and women to follow His example so others can look up to them. The apostle Paul was one of the main followers of Jesus Christ. Paul followed Jesus’ example and became an example to the believers. As a faithful servant of God, Paul followed the example Jesus set for  him and admonished the believers he raised to follow his manner of life. He was bold enough to use himself as the  example Timothy should follow. Timothy emulated Paul and served as an example for the believers who observed his manner of Life. Paul…

Attaining One Spirit - One Example 1 By Rev Eastwood Anaba

THE WORD SIROCCOSunday, February 24, 2019

Theme: One Spirit

Topic: Attaining One Spirit - One Example 1

Scripture Reading:
Numbers 11:1-6; Romans 6:1-4; Ephesians 4:1-4

Main Text:
John 13:15
For  I  have  given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Another way to attain oneness of Spirit is for God’s people  to have  examples they look at. Having a picture of  the  ideal  situation  in  view,  makes  it  easy  for  you  to become  what you want to be. The people of Israel were  baptised unto Moses. He  was also their example  in godliness. They looked up to him for inspiration and  trusted  him to take  them to the  Promised Land.To attain oneness  we  must  have  a common example to look up to. Jesus Christ is the perfect  example of a life that  pleases God. He showed the way and taught His disciples to follow His example. He declared that He is the way (John 14:6), and gave a clear directive to His disciples, saying "I  have  given you an example, that ye shou…

RAISED TO WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

24th February, 2019
IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: RAISED TO WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE
THEME SCRIPTURE:Romans 6:4 (NKJV)Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
MESSAGE:We have established that you identify with the death and burial of Christ when you are dipped into water during baptism. In the same vein, you identify with the resurrection of Christ when you are raised up, out of the water.
The third spiritual significance of baptism is that, after the old man is buried together with his deeds in the waters of baptism, you’re raised up a new man just as Christ was raised up from the dead with a glorified Body. A mass of water is symbolic of a mass or world of people. Hence, coming up, out of the water during baptism has great spiritual significance. To be separated from the mass of water is to be separated from the world. You’re in the world, but you’re …

HAVE AN APPETITE FOR PRAYER BY PROPHET NANSEI OPOKU SARKODIE

The Potters GuideProphet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 23
HAVE AN APPETITE FOR PRAYER
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thus with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
EPHESIANS 6:18
There are many Christians who wake up in the morning and go about their normal businesses without talking to God in prayer. I have come to a place in my Christian life where I cannot just wake up in the morning and go about my normal business without spending at least two hours in prayer. I remember in 2006, I underwent a three day fast and all I was asking God, was to give me an appetite for prayer. I believe God has granted my request; that is why for the past years, I have been able to stand and consistently lead His children through all nights of Prayer every Friday.
One of the commonest testimonies given by those who regularly attend our all-night prayer meetings is that their prayer lives have changed. Friend, I want you to know that you can…

MOTIVES BY BISHOP DAG HEWARD MILLS

MOTIVES
23rd February 2019
READ: 1 Thessalonians 2:3-10
“Feed the flock of God…not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind…” - 1 Peter 5:2
Jesus had a reason for praying. He had reasons for doing the things He did. He wanted to help people. He was moved with compassion. “But when he saw the multitudes, he was  moved with  compassion  on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd” (Matthew 9:36).
This means that Jesus felt pity, mercy, kindness and tenderness towards the people. Obviously, Jesus was not thinking about getting any money from them. He was thinking about helping them.
If you are a leader, what thoughts go through your mind? Are they thoughts of how much money you can get from the people you lead? Are they thoughts of how much you will be paid for each move you make? Is your mind filled with thoughts of personal gain and personal profit? If that is the case, then you are not the Jesus type of leader!

Attaining One Spirit - One Baptism 2 By Rev Eastwood Anaba

THE WORD SIROCCO Saturday, February 23, 2019

Theme: One Spirit

Topic: Attaining One Spirit - One Baptism 2

Scripture Reading:
Numbers 11:1-6; Romans 6:1-4; Ephesians 4:1-4

Main Text:
Ephesians 4:3-4
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your  calling;

Though the people of Israel were baptised unto Moses, they failed to tame their appetite from lusting after the food they ate in Egypt. Their lust produced rebellion in them and they murmured against God (Numbers 11:4-6). Carnal believers with uncircumcised hearts occupy church pews and crave for the things of the world, which they are supposed to have been weaned from. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life control them because  they have not died to the  flesh in baptism. If we  are dead to the self we  are supposed to overcome the lust for the things of the world (1 John 2:15-17). Apart from water baptism, be…

BURIED WITH CHRIST THROUGH BAPTISM BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

23rd February, 2019

IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: BURIED WITH CHRIST THROUGH BAPTISM
THEME SCRIPTURE:Romans 6:4 (NKJV)Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
MESSAGE:We discovered in yesterday’s devotion, that, baptism into Christ Jesus is baptism into His death. What we communicate at baptism is that, “We’re dead to sin;” which means, we’re unresponsive to sin. This the first spiritual significance of baptism. The natural event which follows death, is burial. In the same way, after dying to sin, we were buried with Christ through baptism into death.
When you’re dipped into the waters of baptism, you’re communicating a spiritual message, that, you identify with the burial of Christ. The sin nature, which Romans 6:6 calls, “The old man,” is buried with Christ through baptism. The sin nature is that which produced poverty, sickness,  death, and all vice…

ENGAGE HEAVEN WITH PRAYERS BY PROPHET NANASEI OPOKU-SARKODIE

The Potters GUIDE Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 22
ENGAGE HEAVEN WITH PRAYERS
If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 CHRONICLES 7:14
Prayer is your communication link with God. It is one of the greatest assets of a believer. In Luke 21:36 Jesus said, "Watch ye therefore and pray always that ye may be accounted worthy to escape...". Note the phrase "...ye may be accounted worthy to escape...". It means that you will not escape some troubles in life if you choose to be prayerless. You will never enjoy certain blessings in your Christian walk unless you learn to pray. Certain doors in your life will never be opened to you until you properly engage heaven with serious travailing prayers. Show me a prayerless Christian and I will show you someone who is constantly under pressure.

DILIGENCE BY BISHOP DAG HEWARD MILLS

DILIGENCE
22nd February 2019
READ: Proverbs 6:4-11
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich” - Proverbs 10:4
If you want financial prosperity, you must obey the Word of God, which tells us to work hard. Whatever you put in, you will reap either a thirty-fold, a sixty-fold, or a hundred-fold return.
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
Proverbs 6:6-8 tells us that ants are prosperous. They mind their own business and work without supervision. If you really want the financial prosperity that you are confessing, then you must decide to work without supervision—like the ant.
Do you want to experience a financial breakthrough? It is not enough just to confess great things. You must obey the Word of God. You can have what you say, but you must act on it. Faith without works is dead faith: “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can …

BAPTISM SIGNIFIES OUR DEATH TO SIN BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

22nd February, 2019

IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: BAPTISM SIGNIFIES OUR DEATH TO SIN
THEME SCRIPTURE: Romans 6:3 (NKJV)Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
MESSAGE:The spiritual significance of baptism is that, the believer identifies with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ during baptism. We will focus on the believer’s identification with the death of Christ in today’s devotion.
Our theme Scripture says, as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death. To be dead, is to be unresponsive. If a drunkard dies out of excessive intake of alcohol, will he get up to drink more alcohol, should you place a bottle of the most expensive alcohol by his dead body? Certainly, he will not respond, because he is dead. Likewise, the believer who goes through the waters of baptism communicates a spiritual message , that, he is dead to sin, but alive in Christ. At baptism, you’re saying, “I’m no longer r…

Theme: One Spirit

Topic: Attaining One Spirit - One Baptism 1

Scripture Reading:
Romans 6:1-4; Ephesians 4:1-4

Main Text:
Ephesians 4:3-4
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your  calling;

The Church must strive  to attain oneness of Spirit. We will be filled with, led and controlled  by one Spirit if  we do certain things. Some of the secrets to walking in oneness of Spirit can be found in the lives of the Children of Israel during their journey through the wilderness. God raised one Church by taking them through certain processes (1 Corinthians 10:1-5). The  various  points in incorporating  the Israelites into one  Spirit guide us to live and walk in one Spirit. The Children of Israel were  baptised unto Moses. This means they were  at his command – no one  did his or her own will. They were  dead to the  self. The  spiritual significance…

BAPTISM - THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EARLY AND THE END-TIME CHURCH BY SAMUEL EXCELLENCE

21st February, 2019
IPR DAILY DEVOTION
Topic: BAPTISM - THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EARLY AND THE END-TIME CHURCH
THEME SCRIPTURE:Acts 16:31-33 (NKJV)[31] So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” [32] Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. [33{ And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized.
MESSAGE:Paul and Silas had prayed and sang hymns at midnight while in prison. The jailor initially thought the prisoners had escaped and therefore had wanted to kill himself, but upon seeing the miraculous opening of the prison doors with everyone’s chains loosed, he fell before Paul and Silas, and asked what he could do to be saved (Acts 16: 29-30). Our theme Scripture is a reference to the response Paul and Silas gave, and the aftermath.
It is worthy of note once again, that, baptism is an integral part of the gospel. The account sa…
