Topic: Created for a Purpose
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
The Oxford dictionary defines “purpose” as the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. Without purpose, life is meaningless and unfulfilling. It is important for you to discover the purpose for which you were created, blessed and anointed. Purpose is not the prerogative of a privileged few in the world – everybody should know his or her purpose in life.
God created you for a purpose. He created Adam and Eve and gave them the divine mandate to rule the universe and make the earth productive (Genesis 1:28). The earth has great potential but it takes human beings to release its wealth and blessings. Many parts of the world look useless until the right people show up. What we see in a place in terms of civilisation and development is always the result of the people who occupy the land and influence it.
You are not created to give excuses for the way things are. You are not created to continue the culture of failure. The land should not mould you into the shape of those who were anonymous on it before you were born. I often hear people say that a person is the product of his or her environment. On the contrary, I think in some cases the environment is the product of a person. Sometimes people can make or shape their environment, not the other way round.
1. Pray that you'll discover your true purpose in God, through the Holy Ghost.
2. Pray also for the grace and wisdom to positively influence lives, everywhere you find yourself.
